The Speaker of the Parliament, Sheikh Sultan Al-Barakani, and the Governor of Taiz, Mr. Nabil Shamsan, were briefed on the achievements of the Humanitarian Operations Cell of the National Resistance during their recent visit to the cell's headquarters in Al-Mokha. During a meeting with the Director of the Cell, Abdullah Al-Habishi, they reviewed the humanitarian activities and projects implemented by the cell in the western coast and liberated governorates, particularly Taiz. These efforts include improving infrastructure, providing essential services, and supporting local communities, such as the Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Water Project, which aims to provide clean drinking water to the people of Taiz and surrounding areas. Al-Barakani and Shamsan toured an exhibition documenting the cell's work in relief, education, health, water, and development projects to improve livelihoods. Al-Barakani praised the efforts of the cell, which reflect the interest of the Deputy Chairman of the Presidential Leadership Council, Tareq Saleh, in improving the lives of citizens, and expressed his gratitude to the UAE for their support. For his part, Shamsan emphasized the importance of these projects in supporting the people of Taiz and strengthening cooperation between the cell and the local authority to overcome challenges.
